Mohamed is certified and dedicated Lean Six Sigma black belt that has demonstrated knowledge of and successfully applied the Lean Six Sigma methodology to many and varied situations. Constantly driven to expand knowledge of Lean techniques, both in breadth and depth of knowledge.
He worked in Egypt, Jordan, KSA and UAE with experience gained in both manufacturing and non-manufacturing sectors.He started his work as a Quality Engineer at a leading air Conditioning company. He was assigned as project manager to establish two factories in Nigeria for 3 years. He assumed several roles at Unionaire over 7 years such as production manager, quality manager and Plant manager for a new facility for producing twin tub washing machines and water purification filters. Later, he joined an automotive OEM factory as Process and Quality Manager for less than one year; from which he joined General Motors Egypt as a Supplier Quality Engineer which gave him a new exposure in the automotive industry and the development for the automotive suppliers in Egypt. He joined in 2008 Symbios consulting as a Lean Deployment Consultant. He led (hands on) Lean deployment for more than 10 companies in Egypt, KSA and UAE (Axiom Telecom).
He implemented variety of lean TPS and also 20Keys system in Egypt. He trained and coached Lean Manufacturing to all levels of management and employees.Consulting activities included profitability increase, cost reduction, inventory reduction, defect reduction, lean deployment, Six Sigma deployment, factory re-layout, process improvement & optimization, introducing creative thinking approaches and training business leaders.
He attended several international lean trainings & workshops with Japanese, British, South African and American leading consultants such as Yoshi Kobayashi (20 keys owner and PDI president- Japan), Pascal Dennis (author of several lean books and founder of Lean Pathway - Canada) and Genji Tanaka (Lean Consultant at Dolphin Training & Consulting-Japan), Mike Titchen (MBB Lean and Six sigma expert) from GE and he is the person who qualifies Mohamed as MBB. He managed consulting and training projects with companies such as Kraft, Cadbury, Schneider suppliers, Olympic suppliers, Nuqul group (Jordan), Axiom Telecom (UAE-KSA), and Americana Group (KSA), Sewedy Cables, GM suppliers, Franke, ELMaimany group (KSA), Imdad (3PL logistic company), ACROWMISR, Wadi Group, rkw and JUHAYNA. He worked closely with several international experts and consultants from UK, Japan, Brazil and South Africa.
